Who is StopConcussions?

It is an educational portal that players, parents, coaches, and officials can visit to seek information regarding concussions, with the goal of becoming more aware and ultimately safer individuals in their respective sports. Stopconcussions will have sport specific programs to help change the mindset of the sport, not the game. StopConcussions Foundation is a not for profit in Ontario Canada. StopConcussions USA is a United States registered 501c3 non-profit organization. StopConcussion e.V. is a registered charity in Germany.

Stopconcussions has formed an alliance with Brain Injury Australia to help educate Australians on the cause, effects and consequnces of concussions. Along with this relationship, Stopconcussions has also sponsored concussion protocols for Ice Hockey Australia and the Australian Ice Hockey League.

Ice Hockey Classic was hugely successful in 2015 and included National Hockey League (NHL) stars Brent Burns (San Jose Sharks) and David Booth (Toronto Maple Leafs). With some big names already in the pipeline for 2016, teams from USA and Canada will again reignite one of world sport’s most famous rivalries, all the while raising awareness and funds for the StopConcussions Foundation and Brain Injury Australia all the while helping Ice Hockey Australia grow the game!
